Philly CarShare to Announce Historic Agreement 

An announcement is expected at a press conference this morning when the car-sharing service, Philly CarShare, unveils a deal that will reimburse drivers for the cost of using mass transit.

The program, said to be the first of its kind in North America - and possibly the world - would, in effect, let anyone who drives a Philly CarShare vehicle ride SEPTA buses and trains for free, anytime.

The press conference is being held at SEPTA’s R-8 train station in Chestnut Hill.
