Much to my surprise, the Sidewalk Soundbites concert series was hosting a free concert today in Commerce Square (between 20th and 21st on Market).

The Sidewalk Soundbites concerts are every Wednesday, and put on by CenterCityPhila. I must say the crowd was larger than I would expect for a crowd of unsuspecting paper pushers who were enjoying trying to enjoy their Corner Bakery sandwich. 

The picture to the left is the group (S)he - although there was also a separate guitarist playing a few numbers, I’m not sure if that was an intermission or a separate band. Nonetheless, the weather made for a great day and the music was better than I would expect for a free concert.

Keep up this form of involvement Center City!!
