I had a chance to check out the Philadelphia Marriott last night, and came away pretty impressed.

Honestly I didn’t know what to expect, but was surprised by the liveliness inside.  There’s a pretty decent sized bar area, as well as open restaurants that face into the main lobby.

Not that I actively seek out hotels in cities that I already live in, but it never hurts to find a few good happy hours spots that have a non-college-gimme-jagershots-until-I-puke clientele.
