Voter Registration Deadlines - Philadelphia
Mar 13th, 2008 by Vik
Can’t decide between Obama or Clinton? Want to vote for the next President of the U.S.A. this November? Well folks, you best get yourself registered ASAP.
Below are the voter registration deadlines for Pennsylvania. I suggest going sooner than later, not just because the democratic primaries will actually mean something for Pennsylvanians (a rarity with such a late role in the process), but also because the economy is in the crapper and we’re transitioning to a new leader in the midst of an international ordeal. This would probably be a good time to get involved regardless of who you support.
Having said that, step 1 in the process is to get thee registered (Phillyelection.com has more details.). Here are the deadlines I promised earlier:
March 24 is the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania’s April 22 primary. Only voters registered with a party can vote in that party’s primary. Individuals may register at a county voter registration office or at other designated sites.
For information, call 1-877-868-3772 or go to www.votespa.com. The site, from the Pennsylvania Department of State, includes a registration form for downloading.
